1st graders made some twinkly lights for the holiday season, however I didn’t get a chance to upload them before we left for break. We started by drawing the “string” and “connectors”.
I mix my own colors in the art room. They are quite boring right out of the bottle. These are the colors we used.
I add a small amount of white to the yellow. I added pearl to the purple. A little yellow went into the orange. Some white was added to the blue. Some pearl and white were added to red to make a pink. Some yellow and white were added to green to make lime.
We gently dipped and dabbed our fingers to make our lights.
…and VIOLA! Lights!!!
